ACC wants your input for the Family Synod!
American Catholic Council Action Alert

Send your wisdom about family to Rome!

Make your voice heard by

holding a Listening Session!

American Catholic Council has joined with other Catholic organizations to develop a simple guidelinefor holding a Listening Session on the issues that the Vatican will be considering at the Family Synod.

You can make a difference!

Your voice can be heard!

A Listening Session can be small (in your living room) or large (at a meeting hall).  It takes no special expertise:  you are already an “expert” by living in a family – now we need to deliver your wisdom to the bishops who will meet in Rome in October.

Cardinal Baldisseri has requested that all input be received at the Vatican by April 15th.  During February and March we are asking you to get a group together, hold a discussion, and send us the results.

Our template will guide you through this simple process.

Don’t delay!

Read through the template and begin today!

If you have questions, please feel free to call Sheila at 518-334-6076

P.S.  Have you signed the Open Letter yet?  Only three weeks left to get more signatures for increasing the diversity of representation at the Synod.

Go to www.ourCatholicfamily.org for a full menu of actions!

Diverse, direct family experience is essential for meaningful dialogue!

Hearing testimony from those who understand the proposed synod issues from the inside, from experience, will promote greater understanding among the synod fathers whose final recommendations to Pope Francis will likely impact our Church’s pastoral practice for years to come.
