Will next synod address ordaining ‘elders’ — both women and men?

The author mentioned the article on Crux that she described as unfortunately titled.  They posted it with a title as a synod about changing celibacy. And I agree wholeheartedly that when Austen Ivereigh writes, he has the “stuff” to back it up before he sets pen to paper.   I have been picking up on rumors about such a synod coming for months now and that it would be the more inclusive one she is describing, looking at how ministry happens overall in the Church.  Now, we are getting somewhere if this comes about….reyanna

His outstanding biography of Pope Francis, The Great Reformer, opened my eyes to what makes Francis tick. It also provided a fascinating window into why the pope’s lived experience has given him a unique ability to negotiate delicate political issues and get stuff done.
